With a BFA in Film and Media Arts from the University of Utah, and an extensive background in graphic design, building a career as an Event Planner was a seamless transition. Maggie owns her own event planning business and has done a number of large scale events around Utah, Southern California and Hawaii. Maggie worked as project manager for a St. George based Interior Design Firm, working on more than 20 custom homes, primarily in Entrada. She has more than 10 years of restaurant experience across several brands. Missy was an important member of the Firebird’s new store opening team and contributed to the successful opening of multiple restaurants in a number of states on the East Coast. Missy spent 4 years working for D&D Management Enterprises, a large Jimmy Johns franchisee in Northern Utah, rounding out both her operation and accounting experience. Missy currently heads up the social media effort across various businesses. Missy enjoyed being a mother to her son Harris until his passing in November of 2021. She started the Happy Like Harris Project to keep his happy memory alive by spreading happiness to others. He has owned and operated a number of businesses across a half a dozen national and regional brands, both private and public companies and has served on a number of boards.
